Four questions, one fare

Book a Force Urbania in Varanasi

Answer four questions and the fare appears as you go, worked out from the same rate card the rest of this site is priced off. Nothing is charged to hold a date, and the enquiry goes straight to the person who dispatches the van.

Why the fare is on the page and not behind a phone call

Every rate this planner uses is published on the rate card, so the figure you see here is the figure we quote.

Most Varanasi operators quote on the phone, after they have heard your accent and the name of your hotel. We publish instead: ₹30 per kilometre for the 17-seat Force Urbania, ₹37 for the 9-seat Maharaja Urbania, a fixed driver allowance per day, and package rates for airport transfers and local days. The planner applies those numbers and shows its working, line by line.

What it will not do is pretend the vehicle fare is the whole bill. GST, toll, parking and the state permit on a border route are real costs, so they are listed against every estimate before you send it — not discovered at the end of the day. If an Urbania is the wrong vehicle for your group, the van step says so and points you at a cheaper one.

What you need before you send an enquiry

Almost nothing. These four answers are enough for us to confirm a van in Varanasi.

  • The date

And a rough pickup time. Both can move later at no charge.

  • How many of you

Children included — it decides which van is offered.

  • Where you are staying

Optional. A hotel name is enough; we know the lanes.

  • Your darshan slot

If you hold one. The driver's day gets built around it.

Booking questions

Do I have to pay anything to book a Force Urbania in Varanasi?
No. Nothing is payable to hold a date on an ordinary booking — we confirm the van against your date and you pay the driver at the end of the trip. An advance is taken only for Dev Deepawali and for multi-day outstation trips, because both commit the vehicle for days at a time.
How far ahead should I book?
A week is comfortable for a local day or an airport transfer in Varanasi. Outstation trips want two weeks. Dev Deepawali wants six to eight weeks — there are only a handful of Urbania vans in the city and they are committed well before the night itself.
Is the fare the planner shows the final price?
It is the vehicle fare, worked out from the same rate card published on our pricing page, and it will not change. GST, toll, parking and, where the route crosses a state border, the permit are billed on top at actuals. The planner lists every one of those before you send the enquiry rather than after the trip.
Can I change the date after booking?
Yes. Tell us more than 24 hours ahead and there is no charge to move a booking to another date, subject to the van being free. Full terms are on the booking terms page.
