Weddings
The Urbania is the wrong vehicle for general wedding guest movement and the right one for the people the day is about. Sixty guests belong on a bus at roughly ₹1.13 per head per kilometre; the couple, their parents and the elders belong somewhere quiet with a low floor step.

What we would put you in
Maharaja Urbania — 9 Seater₹37/km · ₹7,499 for 12 hrs
Nine lounge recliners, a centre table, and space to sit in wedding clothes without creasing them. For the immediate party this is the vehicle; the 17-seater carries the wider family behind it.
Why the Urbania here
- Low floor step — it matters when elders board fifteen times across three days
- Air suspension, so the old-city approaches stop registering as events
- Quiet enough to hold a conversation across the cabin
- Individual AC vents, which decide comfort in a vehicle full of heavy clothing
When it is not worth it
For moving the guest list. Forty or more people belong on a coach — a 45-seater works out to about ₹1.13 per passenger per kilometre against the Urbania's ₹1.76. Book the bus for guests and the Urbania for the party, not the Urbania for everyone.
Worth knowing
Book by early October for a November wedding
The Varanasi season runs November to February and collides with Dev Deepawali on 24 November 2026. There are few Urbania vans in the city and they commit six to eight weeks out.
Multi-day bookings bill the standby days
A vehicle held across a three-day wedding carries the driver allowance for each day, including the day it barely moves. That is the cost of it being there when the schedule slips.
The old city is still the old city
No vehicle reaches a ghat-side venue. The Urbania parks where every other vehicle parks, and the walk is the same length — it simply gets you to the parking point in better condition.
